1969:
Establishment of the Hankook Machine Tools Co., Ltd.. in Dongrae, Pusan, Korea. Start of production of lathes

1977:
State recognition as a specialized medium-sized company for machine tool manufacturing

1982:
New cover of the main office and production complex in Changwon

1985:
The development of oversized lathes and NC lathes

1989:
Foundation of the Research and Development Center. Awarded for the Presidential bronze medal on the day of the taxpayer

1990:
Development of CNC lathes with maximum oscillation circuit from 630 to 1700mm. Factory expansion to 2710qm for CNC lathe production

1992:
Medal Award for high productivity

1993:
Development of the largest manual lathes in Korea with a resonant circuit of 3060mm for the turning of the generator turbines

1995:
First development of Semi-CNC machines in Korea

1997:
Accreditation according to ISO 9001 and receiving the EM mark for vertical lathes and semi-numerically controlled machines. Appointment of 100 most competitive enterprises in Korea and award by the Prime Minister

1998/99:
Receiving the EM mark for lathes..
Capital increasing remaining 5 billion Won

2000:
Recognition as a venture company. Presidential Award for application-oriented high technology

2002:
Development of the wrapping machine for flattening of optical filters

2004:
Development oversized CNC vertical turning machines for workpieces up to 40 tons

2005:
Presidential award

2006:
Receipt of the 10-million dollar export trophy
for the anniversary of the date of export

2007:
State recognition as a high-tech company

2008:
Completion of the new administration building (2700qm) and the new factories (7310qm). Integration into the first category by Precision Korean institute of technology

2009:
